This is a repost of content previously published on my prior blog. Disclaimer: I know Becky Jo who owns Workhorse patterns, though all the opinions here are my own!
I am lucky enough to have a friend who is making her own patterns (it’s the dream!) and this is her first – the Ione Top:

I made version 2, which is the v-neck version. I left off the sleeve cuffs, though might go add them later.
I love the curve of the hem:

I would also like to call out that this top goes up to a size 32 (US). That’s bloody brilliant.

WELL DONE FRIEND!
All the deets:
Pattern: Workhorse Patterns Ione Top (Version 2)
Size: 18
Adjustments:
- Cut a straight 18
- Added 2″ length (all at lengthen/shorten line)
- I made the v-neck slightly wider and slightly deeper (about 3/4″ removed all the way around the neckline)
Fabric used: Printed silk from Tessuti Fabrics
Like it? Wearing it? YES and YES! I wore it work today and it is comfortable and flattering and just the right sort of vibe for my work. I will more than likely make another 🙂
Notes for next time: Just to remember to make the straight 18 – I cut the 20 graded to an 18 for the test version and I prefer the result of this version
