The Cashmerette Webster Top was released a while back and I took the chance at the time to pick up one of the kits. I made this last summer, but haven’t got around to blogging it until now.

This is the top version, in Geometric Rayon Challis, which at the time of writing is still available as a kit on the Cashmerette site. I love the cut of this top, though of course the main detail is in the back:

I got the strap placement reasonably well sited I think. I love that this top feels very summery but still definitely hides the bra straps.
The benefit of a kit is knowing you have the right fabric for the job, enough of it and perhaps also for me the impetus to try something you probably wouldn’t have bought as a fabric on it’s own.

All the deets:
Pattern: Cashmerette Webster Top
Size: 20 E/F
Adjustments:
- Graded to 22 at waist and 18 at hips
- No additional length – this top is seriously long!
Fabric used: Geometric rayon challis (from a kit)
Like it? Wearing it? Yes and Yes – it’s perfect for summer and I really like the print and colour!
Notes for next time:
- Careful in placement of back straps
- Definitely make again
