Threadbare Taos Top (Tester version)

Threadbare Garments is a new pattern company and the Taos Top was their first pattern.

This was my pattern test version, in view A, which is described as a mock neckband.

I like that this pattern has princess seams, which make adjustment easy.

All the deets:

Pattern: Threadbare Garments Taos Top

Size: 20

Adjustments:

  • 2″ length
  • Small amount of additional ease added to bust and waist (just sort of by eye on the pattern pieces – the princess seams make this easy to do).

Fabric used: Plaid print knit fabric from Fabric Drop

Like it?  Wearing it?  Yes mostly, although the neckline isn’t my usual style. I am considering converting it to a v-neck so it gets more use, though I do wear in sometimes!

Notes for next time:

  • Quick and easy sew
  • Armhole might be a bit low – consider raising it next time.
